I always say, if you really want to know somebody... look through their phone. I think that even considering this says a lot about your relationship though. Trust is everything.

Yes, you really just need to be honest with your boyfriend, and hopefully he will be honest with you if you ask him. If you have sufficient evidence, tell him what's bothering you and confront him. Going through his phone may just confuse things, or make you even more mad.

A relationship is based on trust. Going through your boyfriend's phone is breaking that trust. Talk to him about how you feel and watch his body language. If you still feel that he is cheating on you, consider going to a counselor.

Never go through anybody's private belongings. There is no justifying the act of putting your nose in somebody else's business unless they give you permission. There is a trust issue in the relationship when you start spying and this, an unhealthy relationship makes. If you don't have trust while dating, marriage isn't going to change a thing.

It is never a good thing to go through your boyfriends things, only do so if you are willing to suffer the consequences of getting caught and of what you might find.
