You didn't do anything to make her cheat. Although it is normal to blame yourself, you can't control someone else's actions. She chose to cheat on you, so all of the blame is on her.

I'm sorry you were cheated on. Unfortunately the only way to know "why" is to ask her. She may have a reason or she may be unprepared for commitment.

It's not just about you. There are many factors that can cause someone to cheat. Communicate with her to find out what happened. Don't blame yourself.

One cheats out of pure selfishness, and nothing else. Although somebody might blame their partner for cheating, in the end, there is no explanation or excuse for cheating on somebody.
