Is it normal to have discharge after thermal ablasion?

I recently had a thermal ablasion and now am having discharge.

Yes, it is normal for the first few days. If it lasts longer than a week, then you need to check with your doctor because you may have developed an infection (which is rare). Also, I am surprised your doctor did not mention this. You should have only minimal discomfort as well.

Yes, it is normal to have a bloody discharge, like a menstrual period, for two to three weeks following a thermal ablation. The body is ridding itself of the endometrial tissue that was destroyed by the heat. If it has been longer than two to three weeks, or the discharge has a strange color or strange odor, consult your doctor.
