This must be listed on you medical application and reported to the FAA no later than 60 days. DUI does not automatically bar you from flying but will raise redflags

Unforetunatly jobs with certification or registration are very unforgiving of these types of offenses. If you are already a pilot you may be ok if you have no other marks on your record. If you are a student piolot I would consider changing careers.

It all depends on what the circumstances were. If it was only a one time mistake you can continue. If you show signs of habitual drunkness you wil be grounded.
