Look on the FAA website for all the standards applied for these exams. Ask the facility if there are any specific preparations too. Don't drink alcohol or caffeinated beverages beforehand.

First find an examiner that you are comfortable with, ask your fellow flyers to recommend someone. I would also recommend getting a regular, nonflight, physical from your PCP 6 months prior to the flight physical to catch, and treat, anything that presents itself.

1. Establish a long term relationship with an AME. 2. Select an AME that you and other pilots are comfortable using.

Get enough sleep so you can feel better on the day of exam. Avoid using your eye too much before test, and make sure you bring your glasses.

When you prep for the pilot's test you should keep in mind no high suger meals, coffee, smoking and stimulants like those. and you should be fine. Other than that a regular work out never hurts anything. Foods high in protein cant help level out blood suger. I'm not sure of any blood work.
