There are many SAT tutors available, but your best bet is practice. Get some SAT practice books at your local bookstore or library and take the practice tests.

You can prepare for the college board exams- the SATs by self studying books and guides. The reason is that it is easy to score better than expected if you are more serious in self-study. You must practice all the mathematical problems from different past questions. Not only this, you must take care your grammatical mistakes in your writings.

Their are a variety of books that you can use or you can enroll in a SAT preparation service such as those offered by Kaplan or Princeton Review, they are expensive though.

Their are study books, along with weekend and night study course to help improve your SAT scorce. But I believe that a board reading list and diligent study in school is the best help. SAT's are suppose to show what you know, not what you have crammed into your brain
