How long does breast milk stay good for?

I need to know how long I can store breast milk.

Answer by  txgirl (67)

Out of the refrigerator, breast milk may be stored for just a couple of hours before going bad, just like cow's milk. In the refrigerator, for a day or 2 or in the freezer up to a year. Remember to never feed your child questionable milk. When in doubt, throw it out.
