How do you treat poison oak?

Wash the affected area TOUGHLY, as the poison oak is rather stubborn, then apply witchhazel as required to the area to deal with the itching. Aloe vera may also help.

There are SO many ways to treat Poison Oak. Mix 1/2 cup of baking soda with your bath water to relieve inching. Make an oatmeal paste and let it set on the rash. Another great trick is soaking a rag with witch hazel and dabbing at the rash. It helps calm the redness and sting.
