They sell connectors in stores in order to connect two 2 liter bottles. Then you just pretty much shake the bottles until the water inside swirls around.

Use a jar. Fill three-quarters full and add one teaspoon of washing-up liquid and one teaspoon of vinegar. Tighten the lid of the jar and rotate it quickly until a vortex appears in the middle - wallah! You have created your own mini-tornado. (Add glitter for greater effect beforehand if you like).

You can make a tornado in a glass of water. Fill a glass up halfway with water. Spin the glass around in your hand quickly.
