Be very wary about a man who does not give you his phone numbers and his address. Also, beware if he doesn't introduce you to his friends, doesn't seem to want you to meet his family, go out in public places together, etc. Best is if he is personally known to people you know and trust.

If he is not available at certain times, there is a possibility he is with someone else. If he does not give you his phone number where you can call him at any time, that is a bad sign too.

Ask them straight up. Most men aren't prepared to answer these questions so they may hesitate or show some sign of discomfort at a confident woman posing this kind of question.

First, look for a ring on his ring finger. Second, make a comment about something he's wearing, like a watch, and ask if his wife/girlfriend gave it to him.
