A radiologist, a doctor who is trained in looking at these scans will usually be the one who is looking it up. Your doctor who has ordered it will give a basic history so the radiologist knows where he needs to look specifically for any problems.

When you are looking at a CT scan, focus on the lighter areas. Light colored areas could indicate a tumor, mineral deposits, and internal bleeding. Metallic implants will appear bright.
