How do you cure dandruff?

It's hard to "cure" it, though there are treatments out there. The easiest way is to try and anti dandruff shampoo. Look for one that has selenium in the ingredients.

Dandruff, or "Pityriasis captis", is caused by overactive production and shedding of the skin cells. It is also thought to be stress related. To deal with this, he should use an anti dandruff shampoo and also apply an oil conditioner or conditioning cream to the scalp.

Dandruff is caused by bacteria. If you kill the bacteria then you will stop the dandruff. Something as simple as household mouthwash can be used to stop dandruff.

Get a Head and Shoulders shampoo and conditioner, and make sure he uses it religiously. Also, be sure he is washing and rinsing correctly. Lather the shampoo and massage into the scalp. Really get the shampoo into the roots of the hair. Most importantly, be sure and rinse out all the shampoo from your hair.

Dandruff can be cured easily by taking regular baths by applying shampoo like agents. THe shampoo have have to be applied after your hair is wet completely.

My boyfriend used to have bad dandruff, I use to wash his hair every two weeks, with Anti dandruff shampo, blue seal, sometimes use Sulphur, they both work well, Apply the sulphur aide on his scalp atleast twice a day. Make sure that his hair is clean, even if there is still oil in it aplly more
