What could it be if my cat's hair is coming out in hand fulls, she has an appitite and appears to have dandruff?

If the cat has dandruff it could be an allergic reation to something she has come in contact with on her skin. It could be an alergy like humans get.

Your cat may have fleas, frontline is an excellent product and works. The cat may have a skin infection shampoo the cat with cat shampoo this might help.

Your cat sould have a skin condition - rash or other irritation. Your best bet is to get your cat to a vet as soon as possible. My cat pulled out her hair for a while and the vet said it was caused by a urinary tract infection. After medication she was fine.

She may have thyroid troubles, maybe underactive. Has she gained any weight recently? I would take her to see a vet to determine the cause if you continue to be concerned.
