To change an air filter, Find where it is located, Carefully remove the old air filter and place the new one in the same way that you removed it. You should be careful not to get any dirt on your self. The process should take no more than five minuets.

I'll assume you have the replacement filter. Find a large (4-5" diameter) hose coming out of the top of the engine that has a plastic box on the end. Open that box. Inside should be a dirty version of your new filter. Pull the old out, put the new in, reassemble. On some Fords, the box is round.
