Where is the air conditioner filter in a Jaguar x-type?

It will be located in one of two places. I would guess it's under the black cowl cover right in front of the windshield on the passenger side of the vehicle. If it's not there, remove the glove box and look behind there. The owners manual should give you and idea where it is.

If you are talking about your "cabin" air filter then it should either be located under the cowl at the base of the windsheild or behind the glove box.

The filter is going to be located under the tube where you put the freon in to recharge your air conditioning.
