How do you change a 1994 Ford Ranger ignition module?

Under the column there is a small hole. Insert a paper clip, turn the ignition to the on position and pull out the assembly. Insert the new ignition and reverse.

Ignitions are a pain in the tush. You have to remove the entire steering column and then carefully replace all the interior parts of the ignition. This is a highly difficult for a novice to attempt. Please seek a professional unless you are mechanically and mathematically inclined. Best of luck.
