Select fringe in a complimentary color, and measure the length needed to go completely around the pillow. Pin the fringe onto the pillow. Using small running stitches, stitch the fringe neatly to the pillow making sure you go through the layers of the fringe and the pillow to ensure a solid attachment. Tie a knot at the end when finished.

First, take the cover off the pillow. You will be sewing the fringe onto the pillow case. Turn the pillow case inside out, and press it with an appropriate iron setting. Turn the pillow case right side out, and pin the header of the fringe onto the pillow. Turn inside out, and stitch the fringe onto the pillow.

With right sides facing, following a pattern up to this point, pin the fringe along the top, sides, and bottoms, allowing for an opening to pull the right side out. Baste the fringe along the stitch, reinforce, and turn pillow right side out.

Cut the fringe to the desired length. Pin the fringe onto the pillow. Sew the fringe either by machine or by hand.

Take the fringe and put it on the seam of the pillow (where it is pre-sewn) and pin it in place. Then just sew the fringe to the pillow.
