Why does my thread bunch up when I sew?

I am trying to learn to sew but am getting no where.

Your tension knob is not set correctly is you get bunching. Try the manual to see a picture of the perfect set on it. And try all cotton material.

Remove the bobin case and inspect whether it is inserted in the machine properly. If the movement of thread through the bobin is improper, there are chances of bunch up or breaking the thread every time. If regular oiling is not done, the thread may bunch up or thread may break every now and then.
