How do I rebuild an NP231 transfer case?

You need to get a complete rebuilt kit. The kit includes fork pads,seals,gaskets,chains,and bearings. You want to make sure you take the case off and clean it real good.Remove the tail housing first, remove the speedometer. You must sure you are very careful when you take it apart and putting everything back together.

Well you well need to order a rebuild kit and find a manual on what to do. Altough you should get a set of instruction on what to do when you but the rebuild kit.
