How do I go about potty training a Pomeranian?

Poms are a stubborn and willful dog, they are hard to train but with a strickschedule and consistency it c.an be achieved.Establish boundries and provide guidelines for the animal

Crate training works best. Dogs won't go where they sleep. Keep the dog in a crate just big enough to turn around in, not too big or it wont work. If the dog is in the crate and has to go it will hold it as long as it can, then when you let it out go straight outside.

Training a Pomeranian is much like any other dog. Take the dog out after its meals until it has relieved itself. This must be done consistently for a while until the dog learns that this is the appropriate behavior.

A pomeranian puppy should initially be taken outside almost every two hour and given a chance to relieve itself. When the puppy does what is expected, give much praise. Always try to walk the puppy outside tthrough the same door so he understands which door to go to when he wants to communicate his need to go out.

Keep the dog on a leash attached to your belt, running outside every time it looks like it might potty in the house, otherwise use a small crate when gone.

Watch the dog closely. If you see that he is sniffing or seems to be looking for a place to potty, immediately take him outside. Encourage him to "go." Once he does, use praise or treats as reward.
