Milkbone will work, but I would suggest that you consider the size of your dog's mouth before using them. Often, small dogs work better with a less crunchy treat. Also, ALL dogs will respond quicker to a soft treat like Pupperoni and Bacon Strips. Not only are they easy to chew, but there are more active juices.

Yes, Milkbone dog treats will indeed help you train your dog. I used Milkbones to train my old dog, Mookie. Dogs love Milkbones! For potty training, if your dog "goes" outside, praise them and give them a Milkbone! Also, Milkbones are perfect for teaching your dog tricks!!

Dogs love treats, just like people do. Treats are a good way to entice your dog to do what you need him to do. Milkbone treats might work but healthier treats may be better for your dog in the long run. Blue Buffalo makes some good all natural treats that dogs seem to love.
