How do I get rid of hornets in the wood siding?

Wasp or hornet spray is very effective. During the day, search for places that the hornets are entering the siding. Spray that area. In the late evening (when the hornets are less active), look under the siding in those areas, fully saturating any nests. The next day, remove the nests.

I would have to say to contact a professional; however if not, you would have to wear protective clothing, cut out the siding, remove the nest, and then spray and treat the area with chemicals to kill and prevent the hornets.

The smartest time to attempt to vacate a hornet's nest is at night. Set up a light (away from you) and spray the nest (or hole) thoroughly.
