Most of the native american costumes were made from deer and other animal skins. They had beadwork on their ceremonial outfits. The best place would be to look up on the internet for specific examples of the types of beadwork that the cherokee used.

Before the white man came they wore buck-skin. Men wore leggings and a loin cloth. Women wore buckskin dresses. Sometimes these were decorated with porcupine quills or beads. After whites came. Men wore pants like the settlers and women wore tear-dresses. Dresses had a bodice and were layered in tears.
