First go to a local automotive store and have them help you find the correct bulb to use. Once you have the bulb, you will need to get into the rear 'hatch' area of the vehicle and remove the cover to the problem rear light. When you get into the light, swap the bulb, then put it all back together.

If the bulb is the problem then you need to remove the housing and install a new bulb of the same type. The process may vary depending on the year so look online for a specific guide.

Remove the trunk/interior liner behind the brake light. This fabric should usually pull away after you unscrew some holders. Then take out the bulb socket (usually a twist). Replace bulb.

If you are having a brake light problem, your light is either out or the wiring is loose. If would check the wiring first then purchase a new light after that.
