Short of visiting a geneticist and using IVF to implant yourself with a male fetus there is absolutely nothing a mother can do to increase her odds of producing a male child. The gender is determined by the sperm and therefore it is purely genetics and chance at work as to which sperm will fertilize your egg.

Gender of your child relies on the sex of the individual sperm cell that fertilizes your egg. There is a fifty percent chance either way. The only way to choose gender is through some invetro fertilization techniques.

There is no sure fire way to increases your chances of having a male child. Science is working on a way to make you be able to choose the gender of your child but it's far from it. So for now you just have to get what life hands to you.

This isn't 100%, of course (no method is), but you should try to conceive on a day that you're fertile instead of two or three days before.
