Has Beowulf been made into a book?

Beowulf, the movie is based on the Old English epic poem whose author is still unknown. It is actually quite old and very famous, some consider it a very good read. Since the movie came second, I'm pretty sure you can find a copy of Beowulf in your local bookstore.

The movie was based off of a book or better yet a myth that was passed down through mouth to mouth and fom generation to generation until some monks decided to write it down. It was the first example of written literature in the english language.
