Yes Asmanex really does work. It will not replace your rescue inhaler but may reduce how often you have to use it. The active ingredient in Asmanex is an antinflamitory, that will help your air ways from becoming constricted.

Asmanex Twisthaler (anti-inflammatory corticosteroid Mometasone-Furoate, and anhydrous-lactose milk-proteins) treats asthma. It can take 1 to 2 weeks or longer for medicinal effect. Be CAUTIOUS starting/stopping ANY medication. Be careful of allergic-reactions, infections, hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal suppression, lower bone-density, glaucoma & cataracts. When the dosage-counter reads "00", do NOT force the cap which then will falsely indicate some "empty"-remaining doses.

Yes. Asmanex has been proven to work by clinical trials and once-a-day dosing has less adverse effects. It is not for acute bronchospasm
