Do you think painting your room orange is a good idea?

Orange is a very intense color. Perhaps try painting one accent wall first. If you like the result leave it at that. If you still want the whole room orange then go for it. You only have to please yourself!

i painted my whole room orange, and i find myself regretting it. it's just too much... when it gets dark the light is terrible, and turns everything orangey. i'm going to paint either 2 walls white or make it a lighter orange. good luck!

It all depends on what you like. Orange is a rather bright color and can be a bit much when used on all four walls of a room. However, you can actually just paint one or two walls the orange and leave the other walls white. It looks really good and adds a splash of color without being overwhelming.

Get a large piece of cardboard and paint it that color. Then hang it on the wall. That will give you a rough idea of how it will look.
