No. Leashes are very dangerous to your guinea pig and can cause joint/back problems, you can easily break their spine with the slightest tug. There is also the risk of other people's pets or that your pig could get stepped on if you take your pig outside on a leash. Please worry about your pig's health more than appearances.

It's not about looking silly; leashes are EXTREMELY dangerous for your guinea pig. Their backs are delicate and you can cause lasting damage or even break their spine with the slightest tug on the leash. There are also plenty of other dangers, like other pets/predators or peoples' feet. NEVER use a leash with your cavy, even in your own backyard.
