Most new phones have pager options, so I'm sure there's a way to set your regular cell phone up as a pager for when you want that retro feel.
Yes you can still get pagers though not many manufacturer's make them anymore and there are not many providers left for them. The pager technology is definitely being fazed out by all of the new age cell phones.
