How do you go about inserting page numbers to adobe illustrator?

Adobe Illustrator is not conventionally a program for slideshows. You will have to manually insert the page numbers at the bottom or top of the page using the text tool.

To insert page numbers use the menu type and select special characters. There you will find the character that is the placeholder for the page number.

It is easy to solve. You have to give every page a own frame. After that the numeration will work automatically.

Basically, you can add page numbers by selecting options and preferences. Then hit the order page and select the option where it says insert. Then click insert page numbers. Then select how you would like them to be placed ie. right or left.

haven't worked on adobe illustrator.. But probably you should seek menu/sub menu containing "page layout" or "page properties" and should explore them. it might not be that difficult... find tutorials on Google.. could help!!
