Well, you could do the complementary colors: purple and yellow. First, take a piece of plan copier paper and cut out a snow flake with a pair of scissors. Then place that over strips of purple and yellow. With that, you can play with designs.

I suggest using colored chalk that you will crush into powder form then pour it all around on the floor. Now use your finger to draw designs in the chalk.
