A judgment granted by a state court is not valid and does not transfer to another state. The party seeking the judgment can file in another state if the defendant has relocated. Given that the first request was granted by the court, it is likely to be granted in subsequent requests as well.

In general, yes. However, since laws vary from state to state, the laws may vary as to what kinds of judgements are trasferable. Many states have on-line sites where answers to your questions may be obtained. Go to the. /gov site for the state you are interested in to check.

A judgment is valid no matter where it was won and no matter where either party lives or has moved to.

Judgments can transfer from one state to another, but the one seeking to enforce the judgment must first domesticate the judgment, which means make it valid in the new state.
