How do you replace a power steering rack transfer line?

If you can see the power steering rack replacing a line is usually fairly simple. Just find both ends and undo them. Then just reverse the procedure for installing the new line.

Find both ends of the line and undo them.Take the line out and but the new line in. After putting the new line in flush a quart of fluid through.

Flush through one quart of ATF after installing new hoses. Block the return line nipple on the reservoir. Fill the reservoir, start the engine and let idle. Connect the return line to the reservoir nipple, remove the top, clean the filter and replace.

Drain the power steering pump .And that part is on the rack under the auto .Becarful not to twist the old lines
