Can a child only visit a parent so long as they have visitation rights?

A child must be allowed to visit a parent with visitation rights. If the parents can arrange it peacefully, the child can visit more often than visitation rights dictate them to see each other.

I'm not sure what you are asking. If you have visitation rights, your visitation is regulated by the court,I would not step outside of this without asking the court to modify it. Court mandated visitation is for the protection of the child, and the child is the most important thing here. If court visitation expires, then it visits are open.
