Are rabbits best in pairs?

I am getting a mini-lop and I don't know if I need to get a boyfriend for her.

Unless you are planing to have a bunch of rabbits in a few months I wouldn't get her a boyfriend.

Depends on if you want hundreds of rabbits or just two. If you're okay with having a new litter every six to ten weeks go for it.

Rabbits do prefer companionship, however, if you get a female and a male you will need to have one of them fixed unless you want a lot of babies. Two females are usually a good idea but if you want a male and a female get the male neutered. Unneutered males will spray urine almost like cats.

Rabbits are fine solo. I had several rabbits at different time and they didn't seem to be affected by the other rabbits.
