Harem pants are an exotic choice and it is best to keep the rest of the outfit simple. A leotard style top is a good choice. Metallic flat sandals, bangle bracelets, dramatic earrings and a simple clutch purse would make a statement without becoming a costume.

If you are going to wear anything out of the ordinary and with a bright color or print, you need to go basic on the rest of the outfit. Since harem pants are loose, wear a tight fitted top and pair with classy shoes to compliment the pants.

I would wear something tighter fitting b/c the pants are so loose. I would say a nice sleeveless tight fighting shirt in a basic color.
