Using a fungicidal paint will not kill mold. It will help prevent it from spreading but it is not in itself a treatment. You must first kill the mold using a mixture of bleach and water. If the mold is severe, you should consider replacing the drywall in those areas.

Using fungicidal mold will kill some mold, but you are better off replacing the drywall or other material to remove the mold. Using fungicidal paint on the new drywall will help prevent the mold from returning, especially in humid areas like the bathroom.

In theory it should. That is why the fungicide is added in. That way it can be used to paint over mold prone areas to keep it from molding.

no. you have to kill the mold first, then seal any leftover stains with a primer/sealer. most interior paint have built in mold/mildew protection. there are additives on the market that can give extra protection from recurrence of mold/mildew.
