It all depends on the individual dog and there is no dog that you won't have to train. They all ned to be trained sepcifically to what it is that you want them to do for you.

All dogs will require some training. While several breeds are easy to train, they are not necessarily more smart than other breeds, they simply have more of a desire to please their owners. Any of the working breeds will provide you a good responsive dog. The amount of training needed will depend on what you expect from your dog.

A Rat Terrior is very smart dog and can be trained to do almost anything. But they do have very high energy and need alot of attention at all times. Witch is why they are good to train they are always looking for something new to learn!
