Yes it will grow in full shade. It is a very versitle plant, and can grow in areas ranging from full sun to full shade. It is decently frost hardy, but should be protected from a hard freeze, especially if it will not warm up during the day in shade.

It can grow in full shade but will fare much better in part sun/part shade. This plant is a thick hearty ground cover and will soon take over any space where it is planted. It can often overpower and/or kill nearby plants or grass. To maintain at its best, trim occasionally or contain with large rocks or bricks.
