No. After your teeth are extracted, the bone level tends to shrink as you age. When the natural teeth are in place it helps to keep the bone level stable.

If you get removable dentures, no, it won't strengthen your jaw. If you are getting an implanted plate, metal is placed in your jawbone first to allow more bone to grow around it, and then later the plate is implanted in the strengthened bone. In that case, yes, your jawline does gain strength from additional bone growth.

A lower dental plate can help strengthen a jawline that is deficient due to loss of bone structure that commonly occurs after teeth have been extracted.

Having a lower dental plate will of course help your jawline more than having nothing there. It is best to take care of what you have now by brushing and flossing daily.

A lower dental plate may not strengthen a jawline. The plate requires secure anchors to be comfortable in the mouth, so each case could be different.
