How does increased strength help you as a wide receiver?

I am trying to increase my strength so I can be one of the best wide receivers in my state.

One of the keys to strength building for wide receivers is ensuring good arm and hand strength. A wide receiver with strong hands and arms can often pull in difficult catches. Good arm strength also prevents defenders from being able to rip the ball away once after the pass.

As a wide reciever you are going to have to break tackles in which increased arm strenthg and leg strength will give you an advantage.
