Some people pursue real estate careers because they are energetic self-starters and like to work independently. Others get licensed as a second job because of the flex hours. Some just like helping people sell their houses and get into new ones. It is a commissioned job, so as the economy goes, so goes the income.

Real estate agents have flexibility in terms of their workplace (they are both in the field and in the office). If you are motivated, you will enjoy lucrative commissions on the sale of homes. There is also flexibility in their wardrobe as they are allowed to dress in business casual attire.

You might want to become a real estate agent because the money can ve very good and also you wouldn't be stuck behind a desk for eight hours a day.
