careers  why

Why would I become a real estate agent?

Answer by  patti (29325)

Some people pursue real estate careers because they are energetic self-starters and like to work independently. Others get licensed as a second job because of the flex hours. Some just like helping people sell their houses and get into new ones. It is a commissioned job, so as the economy goes, so goes the income.

This is a field that provides flexible hours, working with a range of people, learning the latest in business (from financing to property values) and potentially-high earnings.

Real estate agents have flexibility in terms of their workplace (they are both in the field and in the office). If you are motivated, you will enjoy lucrative commissions on the sale of homes. There is also flexibility in their wardrobe as they are allowed to dress in business casual attire.
