Why is my dog coughing up green stuff?

Coughing up green stuff sounds like kennel cough, an infectious bronchitis. If young and healthy then give him a dose of cough linctus else he may need antibiotics.

Its must be due to allergy.Sneezing and itching are the symptoms. Sometimes it happens due to food which might be allergic to that dog.

your dog is coughing up green stuff because he might be very sick, you should take him to the vet. or he may be eating grass from the back yard

If he has been outside recently it could be that his stomach was upset and ate grass and he is coughing that, and whatever was upsetting his stomach, up. It could also be his chyme, depending on what kibble your dogs food is it could just be his partly digested food, or chyme.
