If I am going to board my dog in a vet's office over the holidays can I bring my own crate to help prevent him from getting a cough?

Most likely the vet will want to keep the dog in one of their crates for safety purposes and couch is transmitted through the air so it will not help.

Usually, they do not allow you to bring in anything personal. I kennel my dogs at the local vet's office for trips as well and I haven't had a problem.
