Question by  raj94 (10)

Why is 98.6 degrees considered a normal body temp?

Mine's normally 97.7 degrees.

98.6 is an average body temperature. Actual human bodies vary in their temperature and can range from 97-99 even while healthy.

It's just the average. Many people have temperatures that are ordinarily a little higher or lower; a temperature that's a little off will not concern doctors.
