While this may not be the preferable way of displaying affection, your cat - and many other cats - do this. Rubbing its rear scent glands upon you lets others know that you belong to it and showing affection by familiarizing itself to you. In either event, the cat is essentially marking you as its territory.

Many cats lick their butts in order to clean them. Your cat may like to stick its butt in your face because it cannot reach its butt with its own mouth. It may be asking you to clean its private area for it.

This is perfectly normal. A cat sticking her butt in your face is simply their way of allowing you to smell them. It is a sign of acceptance and love.
