Why does my car experience loss of power when accelerating?

The faster you go, the bigger the aerodynamic drag. This means your car consumes more fuel. If the fuelpump of your car is getting weak or the fuel filter is jammed, this might result in a loss of power, feeling as like you would gently put your feet on the break, although it's on the gas pedal.

First you have to check the battery terminals if they are proper fixed or you have to check the fuse box there might be a fuse lose from its holder.

Well it sounds like you have a over rich condition. This occurs when the engine gets more fuel than it can burn during ignition. , Typically this is due top a timing or ignition issue. Check your plugs and their gaps as well as make sure the engine is in time.
