Why does my Buick Ultra vibrate only between the 55 -60 mph range?

It could be many things from the harmonic balancer to the (universal joints on rear wheel drive models). If your vehicle is a rear wheel drive model the most likely cause is the universal joints and both should be replaced. It could also be an out of round tire, which can be checked at any tire store.

I have had this problem on sveral vehicles and in almost all instances replaceing the universal joints fixed the problem.
