Women may twirl their hair on a first date for possible a few reasons. One, is that some do it as a nervous gesture. Who wouldn't be nervous on a first date. A woman may also twirl her hair as a sign of flirtation. Lastly, it has been said that twirling hair is a sign of insanity. Man beware!

Maybe they would like to show off their beautiful hair and draw your attention,or they are very nervous inside and do not know what to do,or they like the person and aim to develop further relationship in the coming days,or there is no special reason, that is only natural behaviour. Women like doing that.
